Sonny Burgess, 75, of Farmington, Missouri, passed away September 2, 2022.

He was born on August 4, 1947, in Cullman, Alabama, and was the son of the late Thomas Harvey and Lillie Nadene (Underwood) Burgess.

He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Terry Burgess and Tracy Tippitt; sisters, Beatrice Underwood and Ruth McNabb; brothers, Lonnie Burgess, John Underwood, and Fred Burgess.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Burgess of Farmington, Missouri; children, Eddie Walker, Troy Burgess, Tara Diedrich, Tanya Whitlow, and Ty Burgess; nineteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers, James Tabor, Frank Burgess, and Dennis Tabor

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Chapel with Kevin Swain officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, was in charge of the cremation arrangements.
