Obituary

Stacy Wade, 53, of Middle River, Maryland, passed away November 12, 2020, at Stella Maris in Lutherville, Maryland after a long fight against cancer. He was born on January 28, 1967, in Piggott, Arkansas, to Paul and Mary Wade. Stacy was united in marriage to Laura (Wellman) Wade on March 5, 2011. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Wade, Sr.; mother-in-law, Charlene Cook; maternal grandparents, Cassius Osgood and Lorene Rowe; paternal grandparents, Mutt and Lily Wade. Stacy was the Quarterback for the Piggott Mohawks during his high school years. He worked in construction in his early years but has worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Republic Services for the last six years. He loved fishing and playing the drums. He also loved BBQing and playing with his grandkids He was always the life of the party. Survivors include his wife, Laura Wade of Middle River, Maryland; mother, Mary Wade of Piggott, Arkansas; son, Stacy (Heather) Wade, Jr. of Cary, Maine; son, Luke (Jessica) Wade of Liberty, Maine; son, Josh (Erin) Dodson of Shalimar, Florida; daughter, Keisha (Alex) Evans of Prospect, Maine; daughter, Autumn Wade of Liberty, Maine; daughter, Claudia (James) Kostoplis of Hanover, Pennsylvania; brother, Paul (Karen) Wade of Piggott, Arkansas; sisters, Ambra and Delana Wade of Piggott, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Stephanie Wellman of Marble Hill, Missouri; fathers-in-law, JD Cook of Okeechobee, Florida and George Wellman of Corning, Arkansas; grandchildren, Caleb, Cameron, Kieran, Kaiden, Hadley, Kymber, Cashion, Hazel, MaKiian, Joshua, and James (with Baby Wyatt due in February); nieces and nephews, Brier and Devyn Staples, Lily, Harley, Sarah and Sandy Wade, Jason and Jake Davis, and Cody and Cierra Lott; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Scott Sims officiating, with cremation to follow. Face masks are required. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Stacy's name to the American Cancer Society or Stella Maris in Lutherville, Maryland.
