Stephen Jake Franklin Morrison, 39, of Brookland, Arkansas, passed away on June 20, 2020.
He was born on April 17, 1981, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Jake was an honors student and a 1999 graduate of Piggott High School. He enjoyed math and science; tinkering with computers, electronics, and cars; and drawing, painting, and crafting. Importantly, he was kind, generous, passionate, and loving. He was baptized at Harmony Baptist Church in Pollard, Arkansas.
Survivors include his mother, Doris Parker and husband Allen of Piggott, Arkansas; father, Stephen Morrison and wife Debbie of Monette, Arkansas; brothers, Daniel Parker and wife Leslie of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Nicholas Morrison of Santa Maria, California; sisters, Lisa Waggoner and husband Chad of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Cierra Morrison of Brosley, Missouri, and Melanie Beaver-Stearns of Dexter, Missouri; grandmother, Janice Rodery of Piggott, Arkansas; nieces and nephews, Chayla Waggoner, Chase Waggoner, and Eston Stearns; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 29, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. at the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Tim McCluskey officiating. Pallbearers will be Travis Risner, Courtney Risner, Darris Burns, Clint Bellers, Michael Raney, Tim Winberry, and Steve Morrison. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is overseeing the arrangements.
