Stephen Earl Wright, 65, of Kennett, Missouri, passed away January 4, 2021, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on January 20, 1955, in Kennett, Missouri, and was the son of Earl and Doris (Goldsmith) Wright. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Wright; mother, Doris Wright; sister, Karen Wright; and daughter-in-law, Christina Wright. Stephen served on the Holcomb School Board for many years and was a longtime member of South Canaan General Baptist Church. He also owned and operated a trucking business. Survivors include his daughter, Becky Winters and husband Matt of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; son, Jon Wright and fiancé Tosha of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; grandchildren, Maddy Winters, Jack Winters, Zoey Wright, and Zane Wright; brother, Paul Wright and wife Scottie of Kennett, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
