Susan Kay Bowman, 71, of Greenway, Arkansas, passed away December 18, 2021, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on May 13, 1950, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late A.C. and Lois (Evans) Silas. Susan was united in marriage to Jimmy Don Bowman on March 12, 1970. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Cleburne "A.C." Silas and mother, Lois Silas. Susan worked at Darling Store Fixtures and Silas Pest Control for many years. Susan is survived by her two sons, Jimmy (Rebekah) Bowman of Piggott, Arkansas, Richard (Tracy Garner) Hardin of Paragould, Arkansas; daughter, Lealani (Aldon) Kilbreath of McDougal, Arkansas; grandchildren: Morgan Gunn of Rector, Arkansas, Keifer Gunn of Piggott, Arkansas, Josh Kilbreath of McDougal, Arkansas, Colton Hardin of Paragould, Arkansas, Kali Hardin of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Corbin Hardin of Piggott, Arkansas, Chris Tripp of Piggott, Arkansas, Rachel Tripp of Springfield, Missouri, Heather Carlton of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Amanda Jordan of Doniphan, Missouri, Matthew Kilbreath of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Lance Kilbreath of Manila, Arkansas; twenty-four great grandchildren; sister, Deb Silas of Little Rock, Arkansas; nephew, Chris Cooper, as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Kevin Murray officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
