Ted Hackworth, 72, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024, at his home.

He was born on July 6, 1952, in Randolph County, Arkansas and was the son of the late Teddy and Lena Mae (King) Hackworth.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Trina Hackworth; siblings: Doris Engle, Richard Dean, Charles Larry, David Joe, Donald Cletus, and James Allen.

Ted worked as Plant Manager for Pinnacle for 36 years. He also worked for Utility for 10 years and cracked pecans in his spare time. He enjoyed hunting, sitting on the porch, and he especially loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children: Jason (Jennifer) Hackworth; Adam (Kinlee) Hackworth, Krystal Bedwell, Amanda Hackworth (Jeremiah Young) and Candace Hackworth (Arlis Mauldin); grandchildren, James, Gabrial, Zeke, Samuel, Andrew, Braxtyn and Bryer; sisters, Peg (Jim) March of Marshfield, Missouri, Mary Lou Dulaney of Hoxie, Arkansas, Lucy Brown of Hoxie, Arkansas, and Vida Hackworth of Pocahontas, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m with a graveside service following at noon at Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Arkansas, with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Pallbearers will be John Dulaney, Steve Hackworth, Tom Dulaney, Arlis Mauldin, Jeremiah Young, and Gabe Hackworth. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of arrangements.
