Teddy Joe McComb, 90, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, formerly of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away on August 26, 2024, at Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He was born on May 3, 1934, in Dunklin County, Missouri, and was the son of the late James and Lena (Johnson) McComb.
Ted married Nelda L. Johnson on January 24, 1959, and to this union, three children were born.
He bravely served his country for two years in the United States Army, stationed in Korea. Afterwards, he worked as a doughboy at the Pillsbury Flour Plant in St. Louis, Missouri. After 30 years of hard work and dedication, he retired. He was a good husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda McComb, an infant brother; brothers, Stanley, James, Jack, Marvin, Charles, Jerry Don, Glen, and Paul McComb; and sisters, Hope Davidson and Joyce Ward.
Ted is survived by his son, Joel McComb of Desloge, Missouri; daughters, Debbie Taylor and husband Mark of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Rebecca Deal and husband Shane of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren, Steven McComb, Shawn McComb, Lisa McComb, Shane Taylor, Brandi Dobo, Hailey Douglas, and Jodi Carter; great-grandchildren, Michael, Kylie, Connor, Garrett, Madden, Caden, Holden, Liam, Adele, Jameson Lee; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel, with Kevin Murray officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation on Saturday begins at 11:00 a.m. for family, followed by public visitation at 11:30 a.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
