Tom Petigo, 79, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away December 6, 2018, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on May 13, 1939, in Tupelo, Mississippi and was the son of the late Andrew and Sally (Roberts) Petigo. Thomas was united in marriage to Clara Mae Petigo on October 26, 1967. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Jackson Petigo, mother, Sally Mae Petigo. Survivors include his wife, Clara Mae Petigo of Piggott, Arkansas; son, Jerry Petigo of Piggott, Arkansas; daughter, Mary Hamrick of Tahlequah, Okalahoma; step-children, Travis (Teresa) Russom of Sycamore, Illinois, Nancy (Robert) Tessner of Morris, Illinois, Regina (Alan Chlapecka) Shearer of Downers Grove, Illinois, and James (Cindy) Russom of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren, Candie Breedlove, Brian Russom, Aaron Russom, Tabitha Ziga, Keith McManus, Matthew McManus, Jennifer Faure, Amy Luz, Ryan Shearer, Sarah Shearer, Joshua Russom, Joey Russom, Shelby Russom, Jacob Russom, Delaney Russom, Douglas Benson, Billy Benson, Steven Merryman, and Anthony Hamrick; great-grandchildren, Ashley Breedlove, Cody Breedlove, Chris Breedlove, Ivan Russom, Zack Russom, Dylan Russom, Tyler Russom, Ryan Russom, Lily Russom, Theodore Ziga, Adeline Ziga, Luna McManus, Bear McManus, Nicholas McManus, Charlotte McManus, Paige McManus, Doulton Faure, Brennan Luz, Alexa Luz, Nolan Luz, Oliver Russom, Avery Russom, Connor Russom, Camden Russom, Cooper Russom, and Emmarie Russom; great-great-granddaughter, Isabella McManus; sister, Deloris West; brother, Dewey Petigo; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 10, 2018, at 10:00 am at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Albert Wood officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas.
