Timothy Ray Smith, 59, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away October 5, 2016, at Delta Medical Group in Sikeston, Missouri. He was born on January 2, 1957, in Pollard, Arkansas, and was the son of Billy Ray and Cleona Fay (Howell) Smith. He was united in marriage to Helen Ruth Sutterfield on May 15, 1975, and to this union four children were born. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Smith; and sister, Debra Boyster. Tim worked for W.B. Russell Trucking in Piggott, Arkansas. Survivors include his mother, Cleona Smith of Piggott, Arkansas; wife, Helen Ruth Smith of Piggott, Arkansas; two sons, Travis Smith and wife Amy of Piggott, Arkansas, and Justin Smith and wife Brittney of Piggott, Arkansas; two daughters, Misty Lingle and husband Larry of Newport, Arkansas, and Brandy Westmoreland and husband Steve of Newport, Arkansas; grandchildren: Jacob, Lilly, Hunter, Alyssa, Kaylee, Kyler, Courtney, Erin, Aidan, Shain, Alicyn, Anna, Sandy, Sarah, and Braylen; sister, Tracey Wright and Allen Underwood of Piggott, Arkansas; brother, Tony Smith and wife Cindy of Piggott, Arkansas; brother-in-law, David Boyster; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, October, 10, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Mike Akers officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Travis Smith, Larry Lingle, Jacob Beshears, Steve Westmoreland, Brad Wright, Kyle Wright, and Allen Underwood. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Sunday 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
