Troy Willard Lindsey, 64, of Rector, Arkansas, passed away March 15, 2019, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on August 9, 1954, in Rector, Arkansas, and was the son of Jessie and Mary (Bratcher) Lindsey. When he was young, he loved playing baseball. He also loved to fish and ride horses. He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Lindsey; mother, Mary Lindsey; brother, Jerry Wayne Lindsey; and sisters, Delorse Gatewood and Carol Wheeler. Survivors include his brother, Melvin Pierce Lindsey of Rector, Arkansas; sisters, Linda Kay Banning of Piggott, Arkansas, Dorothy Whitten of Pollard, Arkansas and Loretta Sue Lindsey of Rector, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019, at 10:00 am at the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas, with Bro. Rondal Richardson officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
