Vernon "Darrell" Gee, 74 passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025. He was born in Blytheville, AR to Vernon and Leona Gee. Darrell retired from Nucor Yamato as a crane operator and loved spending time on his property, working in his barn and feeding the deer. He had a passion for woodworking and remodeling. Darrell and his wife Debbie took numerous camping trips together over the years where they made lasting friends. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his only brother, Bobby Gee.

Darrell is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 51 years, Deborah Faye Gee. He is also survived by one son, Vernon "Darrell" Gee, II; a step-daughter, Carolyn Elaine Kifer; two granddaughters, Avery Melaina Gee and Elizabeth Marie Jackson (Dylan); and a sister, Janette Simpler of Niceville, FL; nieces and nephews, Alicia (Steve) Kimball, Brian Gee, Cathy (Charles) Henriott, and Ronald Simpler.

There will be no funeral service. A graveside memorial will be held at Pemiscot Memorial Garden at a later date.
