Virginia Lee Demay, 78, of GBNC in Campbell, Missouri, passed away January 16, 2020, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas.
She was born on February 27, 1941, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Carl and Dovie (Meade) Crittenden.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Lester Crittenden; mother, Dovie Lee Crittenden; daughters, Annie Raymond and Regina L. Mosley; and brothers, Glen Crittenden and Donald Ray Crittenden.
Virginia retired from Wise Company. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, music and especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet Demay Milam of Piggott, Arkansas; son, Gerald (Tammy) Demay of Tuscon, Arizona; daughter, Lisa (David Beutel) Bell of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren, Michael Mosley and his children, Kari (Amy) Keller, Eric Moore, Meranda Demay, Trisha (Nick) Brown, Bobbie (Brad) Clark, Amanda (Chris) Speer, Zane Bell, great-grandchildren, Arin, Kyle, Chloe, Easton, and Johnny Gene; brother, Carlos (Ann) Crittenden of Piggott, Arkansas; sisters, Barbara Whitlock of St. Francis, Arkansas, Linda (Jeff) Childers of St. Francis, Arkansas, Rose Marie Dalton of Piggott, Arkansas, and Teresa Lynn (Greg) Davis of New Mexico; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 20, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas with Steve Childers officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Kari Keller, Jeff Childers, James Childers, Dale Pence, Dave Beutel, and Andrew Pence. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Blackwell and Carlos Crittenden. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Monday from 11:00 am until service time.
