Virginia Maxine Morgan, 90, of Marmaduke, Arkansas, passed away May 10, 2020. She was born on April 30, 1930, in Greenway, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Mack and Virgie (Nettles) Evans. Maxine was united in marriage to James Ivan Morgan on May 2, 1946, and to this union seven daughters were born. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Morgan; father, Mack Evans; mother, Virgie Ann Evans; two grandsons; brother, Lee Evans; and sister, Pauline Abney. Survivors include her daughters, Ann Carman of Piggott, Arkansas, Nancy Hyde of Walcott, Arkansas, Phyllis Richey of Marmaduke, Arkansas,Mary Burton of Rector, Arkansas, Paula Parten of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Jill Midkiff of Piggott, Arkansas, and Connie Baker of Rector, Arkansas; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Joan Evans of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas, with Bro. Robert Gunnels officiating.
