Vona Jean Lowe, 85, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away October 1, 2019, at Piggott General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on February 9, 1934, in Hickoria, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Alfred and Lessie (Phillips) Toombs. Vona Jean was united in marriage to Woodrow Wilson Lowe on December 24, 1960. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Alonzo Toombs; mother, Lessie Lorene Toombs; husband, Woodrow Wilson Lowe; brother, Farris Toombs; and two sisters, Helen Skaggs and Euvila Cate. Survivors include her son, Eddie Ray (Latraca) Lowe of Doniphan, Missouri; daughter, Jeania Reni (Steve) Eubanks of Piggott, Arkansas; son, Lyndell Wayne Lowe of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jerrod (Stephanie) Lowe of Piggott, Arkansas, Chelsea (Paden) Cote of Doniphan, Missouri, Winston (Bria) Eubanks of Pollard, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Mason, Emmett, Mia, Aniston, Finley, and Penelope; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Loran Johnson officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Jerrod Lowe, Paden Cote, Todd Latta, Rex Skaggs, Bill Skaggs, and Benny Skaggs. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
