Walter David Templeton 82, of Piggott, AR Passed away on April 10, 2024 at the Piggott Nursing Center in Piggott.

He was born on Feb 24,1942 in Piggott, AR and was the son of the late Everett Allen and Mary Madeline Templeton and the grandson of the late W.D.Templeton. While in the military he was united in marriage to Emma (Mager) Templeton on March 11,1961. After returning to his hometown of Piggott, Walter went to work at Brown Shoe Company until it closed then he was employed by the City of Piggott Electric Company where he retired.

He has proceed in death by his parents and wife Emma and 3 sister Lora Hall, Sally Fort, and Joyce Donehoe and two brother Buddy Templeton and William Templeton.

His remaining family includes 2 daughters Angela (Bert) Lambert of Magnolia, AR and Sandra (Delbert) Greene of Nimmons, AR and 5 grandchildren Tyler (Alica) Keller, Jason Greene and Kayla Hardin, Megan (Luke) Brown, Melissa Marufo, Kristen Davis, and 11 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind one sister Judy (Paul) Hardin along with many other relatives.

The family will hold a memorial graveside service at Piggott Cemetery on April 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
