Wanda Louise McFarlin, 83, of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away February 19, 2020, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was born on October 27, 1936, in Rector, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Ralph and Cora (Epperson) Brittingham.
She was united in marriage to Edward McFarlin on April 11, 1957, and to this union two sons were born.
Louise was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas. She worked as a Telephone Operator for Southwestern Bell and also worked at Montgomery Ward Department Store and Ford dealership and retired from JcPennys. She loved her cats dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Brittingham, mother, Cora Brittingham; three brothers, Ray Brittingham, Lautis Brittingham, and RC Brittingham; two sisters, Ruth Drope and Wilma Hufstutler.
Survivors include her husband, Edward McFarlin of Trumann, Arkansas; two sons, Danny McFarlin of Trumann, Arkansas, and David Edward McFarlin and wife Susan Dianne of Tamms, Illinois; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 24, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Rondal Richardson officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
