Wanda Morris, 88, of Rector, Arkansas, passed away December 11, 2018, in Rector, Arkansas. She was born on December 5, 1930, in Carryville, Arkansas, and was the daughter of George and Louise (Berry) Wright. Wanda was united in marriage to Ersel Maynard Morris on September 29,1949. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ersel Maynard Morris; father, George Wright; mother, Louise Wright; grandsons: Jake Forrest and Caleb Morris; brother, George Wright; and son-in-law, Weldon Mobley. Survivors include her son, James Morris and wife Rosemary of Rector, Arkansas; daughter, Brenda Mobley of Rector, Arkansas; grandsons, Jason Burkman of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and Chase Morris of Rector, Arkansas; great grandchildren, Blake, Baylor, Brielle, Matthew, and Uriah; sister, Norma Jean Morris of Rector, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Jason Burkman officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Blake Burkman, Baylor Burkman, Brielle Burkman and Kindal Risinger. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
