Wanda Ward, 80, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away November 24, 2021, at Piggott General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on November 22, 1941, in White Oak, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Lonzo and Oneida (Beaton) Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonzo and Oneida Ward; two sisters, Sharon Jones and Janet Stanfill; two brothers, Rhonny Ward and Jimmy Ward. Wanda is survived by her partner in life, Frank Niswonger of Piggott, Arkansas; four brothers, Kenneth Ward and wife Elaine of Paragould, Arkansas, Roger Ward and wife Charlotte of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Bruce Ward and Beverley of Gainesville, Florida, Gaylon Ward of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four sisters, Elaine Sanders and husband Bernie of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Keitha Caples of Little Rock, Arkansas, Vicki Thompson of Rector, Arkansas, Becky Tyner and husband Jeff of Paragould, Arkansas. Wanda has several nieces and nephews that love her and will miss her dearly. Also, Frank's nieces and nephews. And many other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Rebecca and Shelly for their help over the years. Wanda loved the St. Louis Cardinals and her family; she loved Frank with all her heart. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Weldon Brown officiating. Burial is in Harvey's Chapel in Marmaduke, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Sunday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas.
