Wayne Thomas Smith, 65, of St Francis, Arkansas, passed on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

He was born on Tuesday, July 21, 1959, in Rockford, Illinois, and was the son of Jimmie and Delia (Kemper) Smith.

A graduate of Piggott High School and Black River Vocational Technical School majoring in Diesel Mechanic.

Wayne married Jackie Lack on June 6, 1981, in Piggott, Arkansas and together have three sons; Ethan of Paragould;

Eli (Jessie) of Piggott and Noah of St Francis.

Wayne and Jackie owned J and W Smith Trucking for many years, and he was also a farmer.

Wayne was a Master Mason at Eastern Star Lodge 207, a York Rite 32nd Degree and a Scottish Rite.

Wayne leaves his wife of 43 years, Jackie; sons, Ethan, Eli (Jessie) and Noah. Wayne also leaves a two-year-old grandson, Jax; and a granddaughter, Ellie Jean who will arrive

in Spring 2025. A brother, Jack (Sharon) of Rockford, IL. And many other relatives and friends.

Wayne was proceeding in death by his parents and a sister, Linda.

A service will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 3pm to 5pm followed by a Masonic funeral service in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel.

A private family grave side service will be held at a later date with burial at Gravel Hill Cemetery in St Francis, Arkansas.
