Willa Gertrude Wikowsky, 90, of Piggott, Arkansas, known by many as "Trudy", passed away January 25, 2018, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on June 1, 1927, in Rector, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late William Marshall and Nellie Mae (Russell) Sanders. She had four brothers: Albert Newton Sanders, John Marshall Sanders, William Monroe Sanders, and Billy George Sanders and three sisters: Allen Sanders Cato, Lina Lee Sanders Jackson, and Leona Sanders Mungle. She was united in marriage to the late Grant Edwin Wikowsky and to this union two children were born. Her son, Billy Wikowsky preceded her in death. Trudy was a member the Olive Chapter #147 Order of the Eastern Star of Jonesboro, Arkansas. She worked for K-Mart for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Lorene Bartusiak and husband David of Cave Creek, Arizona. Visitation will be held Monday, January 29, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Charles Richardson officiating. Burial is in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
