William Michael Banks, 66, of Nimmons, Arkansas, passed away January 14, 2021, at his home. He was born on January 30, 1954, in Rector, Arkansas, and was the son of J.E. "Dude" and Magaline (Lemmons) Banks. William was united in marriage to Anita L. Banks on February 2, 1996. He was preceded in death by his father, J.E. "Dude" Banks; mother, Magaline Banks; brothers, Dennis "Sonny" Banks, James Banks, and Larry Banks. Survivors include his wife, Anita L. Banks of Nimmons, Arkansas; son, Michael (Amy) Nelson of Rogers, Arkansas, daughter, Kristy (Justin) Casey of Pensacola, Florida; step-daughter, Michele (Walter) Wilson of Knob, Arkansas; sisters, Patricia Clayton of Rector, Arkansas, Diane Burdin of Rector, Arkansas, Martha Stevens of Paragould, Arkansas, Rita Beck of Nimmons, Arkansas, Georgia Rios of Trammelville, Arkansas, Evelyn Clark of Paragould, Arkansas; brother, James "Cowboy" (Lisa) Banks of Rector, Arkansas, Jimmy "Bones" Banks of Leachville, Arkansas, Manuel "Hoss" Banks of Paragould, Arkansas, Carroll "Genie" Banks of Paragould, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jordan (Amy) Hebert, Amber (Josh) Bryant, Dylan Nelson, Ashley Nelson, McKenzie Nelson, Katelyn Casey, and Aiden Casey; great-grandchildren, Alexis Flood and Jace Hebert; and many other relatives and friends. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
