William Carl West, 74, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away March 28, 2019, surrounded by his family at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on July 8, 1944, in Doniphan, Missouri, and was the son of Luther and Rosie (Belcher) West. Carl was united in marriage to Evelyn (Milburn) West on April 25, 1966. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther West; mother, Rosie West; one grandson, Christopher Holifield; brothers, Tommy West, Bill West and Jack West; and sisters, Jane Reynolds, Mary Ann Wilson and Carolyn O'Neal. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn West of Piggott, Arkansas; daughters, Tracy (Joe) Spinks of Piggott, Arkansas, Debbie Neuliep of Rockford, Illinois, Kathy (Dwayne) Barker of Piggott, Arkansas, and Sherry Tomkus of Rockford, Illinois; grandchildren, Keasha (Daniel) Chandler of Paragould, Arkansas, William Holifield of Paragould, Arkansas, Daniel Spinks of Piggott, Arkansas, Elizabeth Spinks of Piggott, Arkansas, Jennifer (Nathan) Havens of Rockford, Illinois, Kristy (Kimberly) Neuliep of Rockford, Illinois, Amie (Bruce) Probasco of Rockford, Illinois, Robert Tomkus of Rockford, Illinois, Brett Tomkus of Rockford, Illinois, Marcus Brawner, Roger McCollum, and Ashley McCollum; numerous great-grandchildren who he loved very much; sister, Faye Beer of Rockford, Illinois; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation is Sunday, March 31, 2019, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas with graveside services following at 4:30 pm at the Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Arkansas with Leroy Chavez officiating. Pallbearers will be William Holifield, Daniel Spinks, Robert Tomkus, Brett Tomkus, Roger McCollum and Billy West. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
