Wilma Janet Ray,76, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away April 19, 2020, at General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Arkansas.
She was born on February 5, 1944, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Jessie and Leona (Crittendon) Vaughn.
Wilma was united in marriage to Shelby Bond Ray on September 4, 1964.
She was preceded in death by, father, Jessie Earl Pete Vaughn, mother, Leona Irene Vaughn; sisters, Ella Mae Craig, Melva "Ann" Catterton, and Bonnie Louise Vaughn; and brother, Gene Earl Vaughn.
She enjoyed embroidering and working in her flowers.
Survivors include her sons, Victor Landon Ray and Keith Dewayne Ray; three sisters, Sandy Scheffler and husband Gary of McDougal, Arkansas, Evelyn "Kay" Ricks of Republic, Missouri, and Jane Matney of Derby, Kansas; brother, Timothy M. Vaughn of Brunswick, Maine; two nieces who lived close by and were like sisters, Marilyn Bell and Debbie White; many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Charles Richardson officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
