Wilma J Vaughn (July 7, 1934 - June 15, 2017) Wilma J Vaughn Mrs. Wilma J. Vaughn of Troy, MO passed away on June 15, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis, MO. She was born on July 7, 1934 in Pollard, Arkansas to Louis and Meda (Latta) Gossett. Wilma was an only child and very special to her parents. She met and later married Leslie Jerreld Vaughn from her hometown on September 19, 1952. They were blessed with four children: her daughter: Linda and her three sons: Larry, Jerry, David. The family later moved to Missouri where Wilma got a job with Proctor & Gamble, retiring in 1991. The St. Louis Cardinal team was who she rooted for. In August 1998, her beloved husband passed away and her daughter in November 2008. Wilma tried to keep busy and take care of her family. She also enjoyed growing tomato plants and being outdoors. Wilma's family was of the utmost importance to her. Surviving are her loving children: Larry (Robin) Vaughn, Jerry (Kathy) Vaughn, David (Sue) Vaughn; her son-in-law, Stan Atchison; her four adoring grandchildren: Tabby (D.J.) Salisbury, Lucas (Tori) Vaughn, Dyan (William) Dust, Brittney (Austin) Byrd and her nine great-grandchildren: Ashlynn, Chase, Stephen, Jordan,Jake, Alyssa, Caleb, Brent and Brooke. She is further survived by her brother-in-laws: Billy Vaughn and Therrell (Emmalou) Vaughn; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband her daughter and her brother-in-law, Terry Vaughn. Interment to take place at Cummins Chapel Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas.
